Painting with Unicorns
Rocket has been teaching us how to draw.
In February: You will see her step-by-step guide to drawing dinosaurs. Pterodactyl, T-Rex, Long neck and Cera (Triceratops). Clearly they loved watching The Land Before Time.
In August: I asked her to teach me how to draw a leaping ballerina because her leaping ballet, both in person and in drawings is one of my favorite things! As you can see, my drawing (left) certainly didn’t do it justice. Her ballerina has flexibility and strength!
And the latest, from the vision of Miryam, her newest best friend: A girl (in high heels, of course) with painted fingernails and a fire coming from within her belly, powerful like a fireball. The same fire and power radiating from the sun. And her pegacorn (unicorn with wings: half pegasus and half unicorn). “Save me from the lion's mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns.” (And a little Chinese man in the corner.)
